Fried Maggi With Button Mushies & Chili Dogs

Filed under: Recipes, When I Do Cook, Noodles - jill @ 6:10 am

So I was in the mood. And I made "dinner". By digging every darn left over stuff from the fridge and the cabinet. 3 packets of maggi mee, 2 sticks of chilli sausages, and a can of button mushrooms were what I found.

So I proceeded to boil a pot of water to cook the noodles, drained, and set aside.

Sliced up the sausages, and cut the mushrooms into 4.

Added oil and a dash of sesame oil to wok and dumped in the noodle. Proceeded to stir fry a little, and sprinkled a packet of maggi mee seasoning (curry flavour). Added a little water, dumped in all the remaining ingredients and stir-fried!

Set on plate.

Beat 2 eggs in a bowl with a pinch of salt and pepper, fried a la omelette. Set atop the noodles. Using the sliced sausages, arranged a smiley face (or whatever rocks your socks) on the omelette! And served! :D

Easy Cooking - Yayness!

Trailed this fragrantlicious recipe down and lifted it from 5xmom. Love the fact that the ingredient is simple and the cooking is E.A.S.Y :D

Sesame Oil & Ginger Chicken
>2 chicken thighs cut into bite sizes
>1 thumb size ginger, finely sliced
>2 tablespoon sesame oil
>Soya sauce, dark soya sauce, pepper and a pinch of sugar

"Heat sesame oil and stir fry the ginger till fragrant. You can smell the fragrance miles away. Many people are usually put off by this combination but others love it.

Put in chicken and stir fry a bit. Add some water, the seasoning and let the chicken simmer over low fire until the meat is tender and the gravy is rather thick. Taste and season according to your taste."

*drools* Can just cook this dish and it’ll go perfectly well solo with white rice! … OK lah, maybe fry an egg too loh… emoticon
